Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Another Christmas has come and gone
And a new year is on the horizon.

This Christmas season was wonderful. Experiencing the season through the eyes of a child is amazing. The magic and wonder of it all is so exciting.
Lia had so much fun.
We spent Christmas Eve with my family celebrating Christmas and Oma's birthday

When we arrived home we got ready for Santa and watched A Christmas Story!

On Christmas morning we woke up to see that Santa had been here!!

And he left quite a bit of evidence

AND Once again our lights went out ...
Jim had them back on before Lia woke up!

We spent Christmas Day afternoon with Jims family but we forgot to take many pictures that day because... well ...we were in the moment!!

We do, however, have pictures of the aftermath

We have been reading, playing vet, recreating the movie Frozen and Frozen Fever and playing with Shopkins everyday since!! Once the weather clears up Lia can't wait to see the moon and stars with her new telescope.

She's going to be Queen Elsa the librarian vet astronomer when she grows up! She's ambitious.

It was a very Merry Christmas

We are looking forward to a relaxing New Years Eve and will cheer on our Buckeyes on New Years Day!

Merry Christmas
Happy New Year

It's the most wonderful

It's the most wonderful time if the year

We are only a few days away from Christmas.

It's the warmest December I can ever remember! 53 today , 67 tomorrow and Christmas Day 58.
We have seen NO snow.
I imagine this is what Christmas in Florida feels like ... Ok maybe not that warm but close, right?!

Our presents are wrapped

Our cookies are baked

Our Christmas cheer is in full force

Of course Lia and I have our annual Christmas colds and sinus infections
Look at that tissue pile!!!!

We have been watching all the Christmas movies and I may or may not watch a Hallmark channel movie EVERY.DAY :)

We've visited our favorite Chinese restaurant

And found some new Christmas records for our Victrola

And another thing.... Another tooth gone

Merry Christmas to all

Big things this December

Big things are happening!

It's December and a lot is going on!
Tis the season ... To be jolly
Fa la la la la la la la ...

The house is decorated ..inside

And outside
However .. the lights get Jim .. EVERY night ...ugh

Christmas pictures were taken

The Christmas cards are ready to go out

Elmer the Elf made his appearance doing fun elf things ...

We had breakfast with Santa at his workshop

Other December fun includes
Having tea parties

Playing princess dress up

Reading our favorite books

Playing with new toys

Making ornaments

But here's the BIGGEST thing ...

Lia lost her very first tooth!!
And the one next to it is soon to follow! She's talking with a little lisp - it's so cute - and singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"

Wishing everyone peace and joy this holiday season.

Life in pictures....

October came and went!

We eneded the month carving pumpkins

And Trick or Treating on a cool beautiful fall evening.

There has been lots of scooter riding in all the falling leaves

And dress up fun ...

Day or night ... It's always the right time to be a princess

Now that November is here ...
It's time for trees, turkey and lists for Santa!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!

And just for fun here's Lia's "cranky" face

Happy November!!
