It was a relaxing Mothers Day.
We are so lucky to live so close to both of our moms.
So we got to visit with them both today.
Happy Mothers Day Mom/Oma and Mom/Grandma
Then we decided to forgo the planned at home dinner and ventured out for Mexican.
A little margarita never hurt anyone, right!?
I told Lia tonight, that this was the best Mothers Day ever.
Because she is getting older and we are having so much fun with her. She is
communicating so well and has LOTS to say...till midnight last night to be exact!!
But she is still little enough to let us rock her before bed, sits on our lap and reads books with us and
welcomes our hugs and kisses anytime/anywhere! Each day is a reminder that she is growing up-
This week we had her 3 year check up:
Lia is now 30 lbs( 30%) and is 38 1/2 inches tall (85%)
When we brought her home she was a peanut. Barely 15 lbs
You've come a long way ..baby!!
We made it to a "flowery garden"
We ran through a "forest", rode a "cart" and threw coins in the fountain
And we got some really cool Mothers Day flowers.
Lia played with pirate cousins,
Captain Caitlin and 1st Mate Lexi!!
While watching her new fav: Bubble Guppies X marks the spot.
We had a fun and busy week and a great Sunday Mothers Day!
